Dennis Miller Show Canceled on CNBC

Did you know Dennis Miller had a political TV show on CNBC? If not, you weren't missing much. I probably tuned in a total of six or seven times and maybe watch one airing from beginning to end. I like Dennis Miller well enough, but I have to say the writing on the show was dreadful.

Now, TV Newser of Media Bistro tells us the Dennis Miller show has been canceled and the final episode will air on Friday the 13th. This is a snippet from CNBC President, Mark Hoffman:

"I wanted to let you all know that we will be expanding our signature Business Day programming up to Primetime on the East Coast and will be adding an additional airing of "Mad Money with Jim Cramer" at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

I have spoken with Dennis Miller about these plans and he has let me know that his strong preference is to leave his program immediately. Therefore, the final episode of "Dennis Miller" will air this Friday, May 13.

Jim Kramer used to be on CNBC's Kudlow & Kramer, which is now Kudlow & Company. I haven't had a chance to check out Kramer's new show yet, but I like Kudlow when I have time to watch.

It's really no surprise the Dennis Miller show is being canceled considering it's place in the ratings (hat tip: Drudge Report).
